1971 Pontiac Formula 400, original matching #'s engine & trans, California car, built in Van Nuys & still sports the original California blue plates. Correct YS code, 300hp L78, Turbo 400. Engine, trans, rear end & front suspension were all rebuilt in 1995 (have pictures). Rear axle gears are 3:42. Interior is all original and in need of work. Complete exhaust system was also replaced in 1995 with OEM GM parts. Glass is very nice. Tires, brakes & shocks are fairly new also. From a scale of 1-10, the black paint is probably a 6 due to a few small blemishes and door dings. Paint could use some buffing. No visible rust on body, pan or trunk areas. Bidders are welcome to come and perform a thourough inspection of this car at any time. Moving to Houston on Aug 15th and cannot take the car with me but it is for sale locally as well. I have a 1956 Chevy pickup for sale on Ebay as well... so check it out too. This Firebird was last registered in 2011 and is currently under a non-op registration.
