Classic, beautiful 1970 BMW R60/5 Short Wheel Base Airhead. I love this bike and hate to see it go. It is almost entirely original, with the exception of the grips, mirrors and mufflers. I have the original mufflers, which are cosmetically in good shape. I will include period-correct Enduro Brand saddlebags and numerous spare parts. Fitted with a period Reynolds rear luggage rackand engine guard. It starts without a problem, and runs great. It really is a joy to ride. Tach wasn't working properly, so is disconnected. The speedo works, but as is typical for these bikes, the needle fluctuates a bit. Tires are in very good shape. I have an additional rebuilt transmission and a spare final drive available for additional purchase if there is interest. Also have a period-correct Reynolds back rest. I will not ship, but I'm happy to assist the buyer in making arrangements of their own to have the bike shipped. I will consider delivering the bike within 200 miles for an additional fee.
