RELISTED For sale is a 2003 Ford Escape XLT. The body and interior are in great shape. There are no unusual defects at all. All power options work. The engine is the only known problem. It runs but needs a battery right now to start. Due to a mistake a mechanic made in a tune-up and replacing the fuel pump, it runs rough, but runs and is driveable. The problem came with the tune-up. No one seems to know what happened. He claimed Ford's computer showed no problems but he lied. In general you will be getting a good vehicle. Since the last listing, it has been discovered that there is a transmission problem. Reverse works fine and it will drive in 1st gear. In normal drive position there is no movement. It is believed a simple cleaning and filter change will fix the problem. This likely is due to the SUV sitting up and not being used for over a year.
