Vehicle Detail

I purchased this 100% stock bike from a friend that lives near me. Although it was all stock it was a thirty year old bike that needed a complete freshening. Every part, other than engine and transmission internals was removed and either cleaned, painted, polished, buffed, or replaced. Over 250 parts were replaced consisting of a 120 part numbers. The bulk of which were Honda part numbers consisting of the correct bolts, screws, clamps, fasteners, nuts, lock nuts, castle nuts, and such. The other parts that were replaced consist of a complete new Honda tool bag and tools including the rare and hard to find spark plug wrench. Set includes all 16 pieces. Other parts that were replaced consist of rear master cylinder hose, 4 foot pegs, 6 side cover grommets, 4 turn signal stays, all 6 brake pads, hand grips, clutch cable, battery cushion, front fork seals and dust covers, cylinder head side cover, Honda ignition wires, spark plugs, carb insulators to cylinder head, carb tubes to air cleaner, clutch discs, cam cover gasket, front and rear sprockets, (had new O ring chain), rear wheel bearing and seal, muffler gaskets, oil and filter, and spark plug covers. The exhaust which is very solid but does have some pitting was sent out to be ceramic coated. Came out really nice and most all of the visible surfaces are smooth and shiny. The exhaust is now very rust and heat resistant and should last a life time. Everything under the front fairing, underneath the fuel tank, under the original nice seat, between the upper and lower fenders, and under the side covers now appear very nearly as nice as it was originally. These hidden items consist mostly of wiring harness, exposed colored wiring and electrical units. Valve cover was removed and all valve clearances were checked and were all at optimum specs. Compression test results were as service manual suggests. Clutch discs were replaced and carbs were cleaned. The right side cover fell off before I replaced the rubber grommets and there are some small nearly unnoticeable scratches. The other side cover, fuel tank, front and rear fenders are really nice as the complete set was refinished by a professional body shop. The rear tire was replaced to match the front which appears nearly new. All brake pads were replaced and complete systems were flushed and filled with new Dot3 brake fluid. This bike is a real runner, very fast. This bike has 108 HP and does quarter mile in 11 seconds. Starts quickly and shifts really nice and brakes as it should. Really a sharp good looking 1100 that gathers a lot of looks and comments. All electrics work as they should, and handle bars and switches as shown in pictures are really nice. The mirrors and grab bars are original and finished in black chrome. Included is a nearly new and original owners manual and a Honda reprint service manual. Small mar on seat ribbing.
