You are bidding on a very nice 1980 BMW R65 motorcycle. Needs good home that will appreciate this classic airhead. As mentioned under condition, very low miles - 14220. I bought this bike about 6 years ago. Bike has sat majority of my ownership due to multiple military deployments. The time sitting is probably a contributing factor to carb issues at this time. Stalling at idle, slow start when cold, and what I think is a "lean pop" transitioning from idle sometimes. Pulls away strong and quick. have ridden out to my farm a couple times in the past couple weeks at 50 miles per trip without issue. Has 5 speed trans. This bike is a relist due my category error. Kelly Blue book trade value is $1800.00 and retail value is over $3000.00. I originally paid $2500 for this bike 6 years ago. I have only put about a thousand miles on it in since.
