1972 AMC Jeepster Commando Convertible full Lift-off top, 4X4 This little AMC Commando is equipped with a 231cu in Buick V-6 engine, 4-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel drive, full lift-off top that turns this little beauty into a convertible for summer driving. Also, it has an 8K lb Warin winch mounted on the front. It has the body of & is titled as a 1972 AMC Commando. It has the front clip of a 1971 model. AMC bought the Jeep division from Kaiser in Febuary of 1971 and this new body style would have been introduced in late September of that year. This little Commando starts, runs and drives. Tires are near new on chrome wheels. It has a glass pack for a muffler and needs a new tail pipe from muffler back. Please take a look at all the pictures of car that follows .
