This car is being relisted because of bogus bidder joeytyler2011 who contacted me less than a day after winning the first auction on this car to tell me he had no money and couldn't buy the car. People,.......PLEASE do NOT bid on this car unless you are planning on paying for it if you win the auction. Due to time constraints and the urgency to sell this car, the owner has asked me to set a ridiculously low buy it now price of $16,000 Before viewing this auction, please note that there will be NO PAYPAL excepted. We are an imported auto repair shop in Bethel, Connecticut that specializes in vintage and classic sports car restoration and repair. We have been in business since 1993. (203) 744-1120 Mon- Fri 11am to 7pm This "time machine" really runs flawlessly. We gave the car a complete "go through" two weeks ago and addressed any of it's needs which were minimal. We installed a new battery, replaced both door struts, flushed the brake fluid, changed the oil and filter and checked and topped all other fluids. We took the car for a nice long test drive and it really ran well. It does need a few other minor repairs such as a new hood release handle, new door gaskets and the seats need to be recovered. We have brand new seat upholstery kits from DMC Houston that will be included in the auction. All the original sales documents, service records and parts manuals from day one will be included in the auction as well a factory Delorean dashboard sun protector. Good luck and happy bidding ! After talking to my customer and looking deeper into the regristration records on this car, It was determined that the car has 118,800 miles on it. It DOES NOT have only 18,800 miles as listed. I can not change the actual milage in the listing as ebay will not let me open that section of the listing. If you would like me to retract your bid. Please contact me and I will do so. I'm very sorry for this misunderstanding. This car just in no way shows or drives like a car with anything over the milage shown on the odometer so I never thought to question it. Again, I'm sorry for any inconvieniance.
