1969 Austin America (American version of the Austin mini cooper). Car has next to no rust! Just a little bit of surface spots on the body. CAR IS SOLD AS-IS. It’s a really great body if you can get the engine hooked up, or drop in a new drive line. Has an old Michigan title (see Picture). This is the title I received when I bought the car, according to the title the car is a four-door, the title has been endorsed by previous owner.. The longer story: Here is a project car I bought 3 years ago fix up while I attended college, however I just didn't have time to work on it. So it is nearly exactly the same as when I bought it. It was storage in my friends garage up to a couple months ago but then he moved so it is now sitting in my driveway. I will also be moving in the near future and I'm trying to sell off some of my stuff so I don't have to move all of it, and put together some money for a down payment. Here is what I know: it is supposed to have the Austin 1275 engine in it, when I got it, it had a "newer" austin 1100 engine in it and was told it ran when pulled from the donor car, but that was several years before I bought it. It also has the automatic transmission. It has the Hydrolastic suspension with no leaks. The engine will need a minimum of plugs, wires coil points, etc. the radiator, airbox and random parts are in the trunk. Seats are in great condition but here is no carpet.
