This is a very clean R60/5. Not an over-restored show piece but a bike you can ride anywhere and always draw a crowd. Owned and serviced by a certified BMW tech for the last 20 years. This bike has BMW heated grips, The correct long stem mirrors for the European bars on it, halogen headlight conversion using all BMW parts, halogen parking light bulb for daytime running, BMW accessory socket, stainless steel spokes, new AGM battery so no acid stains on the pipes, new seat foam and cover, and the complete factory toolkit and tire pump. This bike also shifts like a dream with none of the clunks and bangs associated with the pre '81 heavy flywheel bikes. The bike is not original paint but an excellent job was done refinishing it along with painting the stripes(no tape stripes). This bike also has the large touring tank as opposed to the "toaster tank". The rims, hubs, and brakes are excellent and everything works as it should. In the last 20 years I've replaced every seal in the bike, rebuilt the cylinder heads and replaced the rings as general maintince. The valves have been adjusted and all fluids changed every 3k-5k miles. The bike has been lowered one inch using shorter fork tubes and shorter rear springs. Stock fork tubes and rear springs are included with the bike. The bike also has a Brown Motorworks side stand and a very nice pair of BMW factory saddlebags mounted on Reynolds mounts (much stronger than stock). The bike is a great bike ready to anywhere you desire. I can help with shipping by delivering it to the local BMW dealer (European Motorcycles of Pittsburgh) for pick up by your transport company.
