Its had a lot of money spent on it. It was stripped to bare metal. Some minor rust was cut out and new panels were installed. We have lots of photos and receipts for all the restoration. The 289 V-8 engine was rebuilt. The C-4 automatic transmission was replaced with a 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission. We added Borgeson power steering kit so now it drives like a dream. This is a very good improvement over the stock power steering. Has lots of GT options. Power front disc brakes with a split master cylinder. The brakes are all new including new stainless steel brake lines. GT fog lights. GT exhaust tips. GT side stripe. 1966 style steel wheels. Rally pac. Luggage rack. This is a factory air car and it blows cold. AM/FM radio with it and CD changer in the trunk. Deluxe pony interior. Console. White power top. Signed Carroll Shelby glovebox door. Last owner could not find the Shelby certificate. I assume its real but I dont really know. Like any brand new restoration after driving a little bit they need a good going over and I found a few things to tweak. We had Brads Custom Auto go over the car very thoroughly and do the service and safety check. They specialize in Mustangs and Corvettes. Brads did a great job. Make sure you read Brads report. This Mustang is in the top 10 of all the Mustangs I have had over the years and that is a lot of Mustangs. Condition #2+.
