Up for sale is my very, very clean and super low hour 1986 Honda TRX250r Fourtrax quad. This bike was ridden in the dunes only - Glamis to be specific and was has never been ridden anywhere else. That means that the bike has never seen or been exposed to rocks, rain or mud. It is completely 100% OEM stock, and in really good shape. I am the second owner and this is suitable for a collector with high condition standards. If you are looking to add a really nice low hour TRX 250r Fourtrax to your collection, then you should consider this bike, as the likelihood another un-restored one this clean coming along is rare. For its age, this is a very nice machine. The motor or chassis has never been taken apart. All bolts look as new. Specifics and details:Starts, idles and runs perfect. Clean carb. Bike starts first or second kick with ease. Compression is strong. Air filter was spotless when I got it and still is.The OEM plastic is really, really nice and still shines like new, but has NO plastic treatment or polishes on it. There are some small scuff marks, but no other issues and no spider cracking or problems to note. The rear fenders are very nice. The front left side has a crack just above the carb. See picture. The fender itself is fine, the crack is along the side and barely noticeable. With the exception of the one crack noted above, overall condition of the plastic is basically near brand new. The tires are OEM Honda Ohtsu's. The rears have about 90% or more tread life on them, while the front is about 75%, or so. The rear swingarm / axle is very clean. No surface rust or pitting or unsightly issues. Its all stock, never taken apart. The back end of the bike is mint looking. See pics.All helmet holders, warning decals, cable guides, etc are there.The fuel line was replaced. That is about the only non stock item that is on the bike.INCLUDES a very cool OEM stock Hondaline headlight guard, which is a somewhat rare part.Seat is perfect and very soft, and feels almost brand new. Absolutely no hardening or fading.Frame has very light scuffing, and underside is clean. It was only ridden in the dunes. The only scuff marks are on the cases by shift lever, and they are minor. The frame paint is not scuffed through the red paint - meaning there are no silver rub marks on the frame. It is still the OEM red.Every nut and bolt on the bike is a OEM stock Honda part. No crappy aftermarket bolt kits or cheesy Home Depot replacement bolts.No shiny stuff used on the plastic. This is not an over-shined junker that I polished up just to look good in pics. It is the real deal. There is nothing else to note, condition wise, please look carefully at the photos. What you see is what you get.Sold with a clear California title. This bike is very clean and very nice, but is also something you wont mind to start up and ride around the yard. I would rate it at a 9 out of 10. It is in rare un-restored condition.
