This is a restored 1970 Chevrolet C10. The previous owner finished the paint & most exterior features. The styling is refined & elegant. Front turn signal lights are recessed behind the grill & only visible when illuminated. The antenna is a custom powered unit that recesses into the body. I added a switch to keep the antenna recessed if you only want to listen to the iPod or MP3. The truck has a 4-barrel carb, headers & tuned exhaust. I installed a B&M light-duty truck ratchet-style shifter, LED interior lighting & exterior cargo light. The conventional engine-driven fan was replaced with an electric cooling fan. I installed a new radiator & nerf bars. Air shocks in the rear maintain proper vehicle height. Tires are all new Cooper radials with less than 600 miles. I replaced manual drum brakes with four-wheel power disc brakes that are marvelous; also installed a mild cam to create higher engine vacuum for the brakes. I haven’t cared about going fast; preferred easy starting with a mellow exhaust note. The tonneau cover is new & the nicest design I could find. I didn’t spend time making the bed perfect. There are some dents & a few small perforations that I could have covered with a bedliner. Instead I chose a tonneau that provides rigid protection when in use & rolls up neatly behind the cab when not required. I installed multiple layers of DynaMat sound-proofing material thru the interior & inside the doors; also installed new factory carpet. The radio is a new Sony Bluetooth many features including a USB input & interior space to hold an iPad. I installed (4) excellent speakers & a powered subwoofer under the seat. Sub-woofer gain is adjustable on the dash. I I installed all new door seals & modern GM seatbelts. I’ve tried to include as many photos as possible to make vehicle condition visible.
