Vehicle Detail
1973 Monte Carlo, real 454, air, power windows, tilt, cruise, 8-track, swivel buckets, rear window defrost, tachometer, only 28,000 miles. Black on black the body is very nice and rust free. As you can see from the photos there are stripes painted on along with a scene on the deck lid. It was Zibarted so it does not look pretty on the underside, however the good news is that it is well preserved under the undercoating. Both bumpers are excellent. The car drives excellent. The engine has a slight lifter tick which is quite common on this era 454, could possibly be adjusted or get better the more it gets driven. The transmission shifts excellent, cruise works, and power windows work well. The last time I drove it I did not check the air, but the belt is on and the compressor turns free and all the plumbing is there. I also have not checked the 8-track. The interior is very nice. No cracks in the dash or rear deck. The headliner is excellent with no sags. The seats are nice, the driver has a seam in the corner where the stitching is coming apart but no tears in the material. Carpet is nice. I drove the car about 250 miles and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I have the owners manual, warranty plate, build sheet, and original bill of sale.
