Modern driveline and suspension with classic looks is a hard to beat combo! 45 miles... not 450 or 45,000 The previous owner started a ground up restoration 13 years ago... worked on it for 2 years... almost finished it... Then the truck went in storage and the owner went to the military. The truck sat for 11 years... being started occasionally by family members. About five months ago, fresh out of the military, the previous owner decided to sell the truck and let someone else finish it. That's where I come in... with only 12 miles on the truck and a huge layer of dust we pulled it out of storage. With some fresh brakes - they were a little stuck - and some fresh gas - it smelled horrible!!! The old truck fired up and made its first trip around the block. Much to my surprise it ran awesome... It did have a couple of leaks, we replaced the rear transmission seal and oil pan gasket. If it leaks now... its very minor. It has a B&M Forced Induction Super Charger sitting on a 350 Chevy engine. The 350 turbo transmission shifts great. We charged the A/C - that's right A/C and it blows ice cold!!! Power steering - can steer with your pinky sitting still!!! When I bought it the interior had not been started on... We insulated all of the inside and then wrap everything in REAL leather - Seat, door panels and headliner. It looks and smells incredible!!! It appears to have a Camaro front clip under it. The body is very very straight. The paint appears to be base/clear and in overall very good condition for the age. All of the gauges work as do all of the lights. The glass is in great shape. The front windshield cranks in and out from the factory. Windows roll up and down just find. The doors open and close great. All of the body lines are very good. It could use a set of tires - they are a little weathered. The starter drags sometimes. The wipers do not work. If I were the new owner... I would drive some short trips first, just to work out any potential kinks before I took off on a long road trip.
