Vehicle Detail
For sale is one crazy Pro Street Mustang. It is a 1991 Notchback. There is a mile long list of mods done to this car, I will try to get the bulk of them. Ill Start with the engine. Its a Big Block Ford 460 block stroked to 514 cid. It has an Eagle rotating assembly. 8.5:1 Compression. The heads are a set of Pro Comp castings that have been professionally ported and assembled topped off with a set of Ford Motorsport 1.6 roller rockers. Custom grind Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam. The long block was professionally assembled. Sitting on top of the engine is a BDS 6-71 big bore blower. The exhaust exits through a set of ceramic coated Hooker headers. Fuel comes way of a set of custom 650 cfm Quick Fuel boost referenced carbs. The air enters through a "bird-catcher" style injection scoop. On the bottom of the engine is custom dual sump oil pan. MSD 6AL ignition .Transmission is fully rollerized C6 with a 4 pin planetary, transbrake and with a 3500 stall. The rear end is a Ford 9" with 4.11 gears, four link with a wishbone locator. Aeromotive fuel pump, filter and regulator. painless wiring. Custom exhaust with 3" Magna Flow mufflers. Griffin dual row radiator and electric dual 12" fans. Weld Pro stars on the rear and Weld RT-s wheels on the front. Stock style front disc and rear drums. Power windows and all lights work. This is street legal car and is tagged and insured. The car runs on pump gas....just pull up the local gas station and fill it up. The car sounds awesome, its not too loud and has the perfect amount of blower whine. The blower is overdriven and is currently only making a few pounds of boost. The car is set up for fun right now but with jetting the carb and a pulley change this is easily a low 9 second quarter mile car. I raced heads up drag racing for years in a naturally aspirated Mustang that ran 8.80s at over 156 mph.....this car has just as much power behind it. The car has a great stance and looks and sounds wicked.....its a real head turner! The car has drag shocks and struts, therefore it is a rough ride on a bumpy road. It has a manual rack and pinion...no power steering here, but its not that bad, even with that big block up front. the body is really straight, however, there a few minor imperfections. There is a wrinkle from the body twisting in the right rear quarter panel that is barely noticeable. The hood color does not perfectly match the rest of the car. This is a super fun car that can be driven to local car shows or the local drag strip. I have never had this car to the track nor do I ever intend to race it, I just wanted a Pro Street blower car. The only reason I am selling is because I have 6 grandchildren that I would like to haul around, and I cant do that in this thing.
