1940 Chevy Master Deluxe Street Rod. Frame off restoration, with Mustang sub frame. It has been completely redone. It has a Goodwrench 454 motor. Has a 400 Turbo automatic transmission with Lokar Nostalgia shifter. The entire car is new total resto . All brakes and lines are new. New master cylinder and all fuel lines. New VDO sending unit, new gauges Billet dash with cold A/C. The car has a four core radiator and electric fan, thermostant controlled. New heavy duty starter, water pump, fuel pumps, battery and alternator. Brand new interior, and headliner, carpet. even the trunk has been done. All new glass,window felts, channels. rubber gaskets and door seals, the new glass is tinted, the wing windows are original glass. Electrical system by Haywire, 16 fused circuits, AM/FM/CD by Sony. Disc brakes, new tires and dual exhaust. Edlebrock manifold and 750 carb. This car rides and drives great, you can take it anywhere. The winning bidder will get a good buy on a professionally rebuilt street rod. The body is all steel except one rear fender is fiberglass. Most all the chrome has been rechromed as well as all inside window frames, they really set the red interior off. They where always factory paint so they show very well. Even the headlights are chromed, and with the bright chromed grill look great. The gas tank was removed, cleaned, etched, and coated with commercial tank liner. Car has less than 20,000 miles on it since completed, please come and drive this car or send anyone would you like to check it out. I want no surprises this is a nicely restored car. You can come to Florida I live near Cocoa Beach and drive it home carefree, no problems at all. Please look at all the photo's as they are part of the description. The lacquer paint is nice there are a couple of small spots on the lower part of the trunk and trunk edges, this is shown in photo and at the bottom of both doors, you do not see rust rather the start of bubbles under the paint. The car is not a show car, but it sure could be, it needs very little to be a winner. From five foot away it looks like it was painted yesterday. A pretty copper/red in color with just a touch of metal flake, very cool. At close inspection there are some small flaws as mentioned. Two things that do still need installed are the horn and wiper motor. You will be very pleased with this 1940 Chevy Rod. You can drive it anywhere.
