1972 BMW R75 Nice bike. I've owned it for 3 years now and don't drive it enough (I've only put 2200 mile on it). The engine runs strong, starts in the cold weather, and has not given me any problems in the 3 years I've owned it. All I've had to do change the oil once a year. What it needs:A new battery. This one's dead. It's got a kick starter, but the electric starter is so much easier.A look at the clutch (I think). The last two times I've driven the bike around town, it's felt like the clutch started engaging all by itself. It has only lasted a brief time and then everything goes back to normal, but it needs to be taken care of before any serious riding gets done. Most of the time this does not happen.Front tire within a few thousand miles (rear tire is almost new). What to expect:A good bike with a strong engine.All gears shift well. No grinding and the transmission feels smooth and strong (with the exception above)Not a show bike, but a good driver. Please ask any questions before bidding. While the vehicle title says that the mileage is actual, I personally don't think it is. I'm guessing the odometer was replaced sometime before I got the bike (but I don't know for sure). Just to be on the conservative side, assume it is not actual mileage. I've listed all the issues with the bike that I know about. It is 41 years old, so there may be others that come up, but I've done my best to list every issue that I know of. As far as the cosmetic condition. The paint is not perfect, but good enough for a driver (not a show bike). That would be how I would describe the condition of the whole bike. Good for a driver, but not good enough for a show bike.
