This Civic has 148,303 miles and is being sold, as is, with NO RESERVE, so we do not have to re-list. This Civic is being auctioned by the Woodridge Illinois Police Department. The history of this vehicle is unknown as it was seized in a traffic-stop arrest that occurred on July 14th, 2012. Following the arrest this Civic was stored in a warehouse. It was awarded to the Woodridge Police on January 23rd 2013, by court order, and we hold clear title. We will attempt to describe this vehicle to the best of our ability and you may inspect this vehicle, in person, by appointment. The body/paint has some damage. There are many dents and scratches. The front bumper cover is loose on the passenger side and the windshield is cracked along the bottom. The tires all appear to have good trend. See photos. The interior is dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning. The interior also shows wear that would be expected from a vehicle of this age. There is hole in the carpet in the driver’s floorboard. The AM/FM/CD does not work and the display shows “CODE”. See photos. Before a brief test drive, the Civic had to be jumpstarted because the battery is dead. Once jumpstarted the engine stayed running. During the test drive the Civic accelerated, shifted, handled and stopped as would be expected for a vehicle of this age. It is suggested that the buyer have this Civic inspected/serviced by a qualified mechanic before use. The NADA listed value for this 2005 Honda Civic is $2,675 for "Rough Trade-In", $3,525 for "Average Trade-In" and $4,225 for "Clean Trade-In". We would place this vehicle in the “Average” category but it is always recommended that you inspect the vehicle and make your own assessments before bidding. Other than these stated observations we have no further information regarding this vehicle’s history.
