The car runs and drives well. The engine is strong and the transmission shifts fine. It has some rust on the drivers side rocker panel and wheel well. the brakes occasionally clunk and give some ABS activity. The check engine light is on and the airbag light is on. The check engine light sometimes goes off but usually comes back on. The most recent problem was three weeks after i put a new starter in it tried to start while we were driving it. The result is I needed to replace the starter again. This time i wired in a starter disable switch so after I start it I can disable the starter. We had the car for three years over the years we have replaced many parts. These are some of the major parts. All 6 fuel injectors with (VW parts)Spark Plug wires(VW parts)Heater coreIgnition switch Electrical and lock cyl.Cat back Exhaust (Bosal) New Starter with Bosch solenoid The car has many small problem that i have ignored over the years. The windshield is cracked on the passenger side. I think there is one working cup holder in the back and one of the armrest is missing. It would be a good car for parts if you have a eurovan. Or if you are a mechanic to fix up and use. The car is sold as is.
