1996 Geo Metro in excellent condition. 66,116 miles. This car needs nothing, and is ready to provide years of fuel saving enjoyment. 1.3L 4 cylinder/automatic.About 5 years ago I purchased several Geo Metro's when gasoline prices were beginning to soar. Being in the Classic car restoration business, I thoroughly inspected and refurbished them for resale. I sold several and held on to a few which have been stored inside. I have decided to bring this one out, make it like new and offer it for sale. You will not be dissapointed with this car. Everything works the way it should, and needs nothing. This is a rust free southern car. List of services performed:New front brakes, including rotors, pads, calipers and brake hoses. (see photo) New rear brake shoes and brake fluid flush. New tires, oil change and service. Fresh spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, new air filter. Coolant replaced. Fuel tank removed and cleaned, new fuel pump and fuel filter. New exhaust system (from catalytic converter back, see photo) A/C checked and serviced. New washer pump, washer fluid and wiper blades. All electrical systems checked.The body is in excellent condition and is completely rust free. (The weak point of Metro's is the front lower control arm mounting points which rust through. This car does NOT have that issue. See photo's). The car has been repainted with a high quality base coat clear coat factory color paint and looks beautiful.The Interior is very clean, the spare tire, jack, and lug wrench have never been used! The original sterio sounds good and the Air conditioning is ice cold.I do not think you will find a Geo Metro in better condition and with this low mileage. I am in the Charlotte NC area and you are welcome to come see and test drive the car. This car can be driven anywhere. Fly in and drive home!
