This amazing Ranger has been in the same family since new. The original spare tire and rim are still under it! During its entire life it only had one minor accident causing the rear bumper and left rear bumper brace to be replaced. No body work or paint work was needed. Eventually, the father and son decided to make a fun project out of it. Only 2500 miles since the entire truck was redone top to bottom. They installed a 347 crate motor with iron GT-40 heads, scat rotating assembly, a Ford ”X” hydraulic cam and an Edelbrock aluminum intake w/ Holley 750 carb and complete MSD ignition. A Ford AOD (automatic overdrive) transmission was chosen. It was rebuilt and included a mild shift kit. It does have power steering and brakes. Headers and "X" pipe with dual Flowmasters which sounds awesome. This truck never had any rust at all, anywhere. The truck was disassembled and taken to bare metal. Other than a few minor imperfections, no filler was needed. Then the most amazing paint job was sprayed. Base coat/ clear coat- BMW gray metallic. . It was then color sanded and buffed to a show quality standard. (And I know what show quality looks like) Laser straight and has the “wet look”. No chips or scratches anywhere! The interior looks nearly new. Simply unreal for a 23 year old truck. The wheels and tires are 19” late model Mustang GT which also has 2500 miles on them. Look at the pictures of the under-side of this truck. Simply amazing! This Ranger has a REALLY nice after-market CD player and speakers. I can’t say enough about this little truck. It is nice enough to put in shows, fast enough to be fun but still could be used as a daily driver. That is a great combination. It runs super cool and has great driving manners. Everything is there for A/C except the compressor and condenser. Really easy to do. I bought this truck about 8 months ago. It is tagged, titled and insured in my name. I bought it because it was “done the right way” and have had a lot of fun with it but I just don’t have the spare time to really enjoy it. So it is time for someone else to.
