Up for bids today is a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 600. I bought this bike back in 2007 when it had 11,000 miles on it. The reason I bring that up is because in one of the pictures youll notice there is one bolt missing from the motor mount which for the past 6 years it has not effected the prefromance of this bike but I am going to recommend that the buyer have this taken care of. I will list other small things that need to be done but I can no longer do myself. I am a disabled veteran who can not ride this bike or take care of it anymore so it is up for auction. Ok so here we go, the bike needs a new chain and possibly sprockets, could use an oil change but that was done about 500 miles ago (before winter), possibly brake fluid change, tires and brake pads are in good condition but not great, I put new turn signals and mirrors on last year, the rear tail lamp assembly was broken off but it is held up with ties and thats just how ive had it for the past 6 years, the exhaust is slightly bent but still sounds really good and runs real well too, ok so to the last thing i can think of is the paint job, i started plastic welding and fiber glassing the cracks in the fairings and priming everything before I left for the Air Force and let my younger brother ride it while i was gone, So the paint is just PRIMER and with some cleaning and sanding the bike should be ready to paint. If I were to do all this work myself I would start the auction at 3k but I would rather not do all the work and let someone who also knows how to do this stuff save themselves a bit of money and let them choose their own color. Essentially this bike is being sold AS is Where is. I have listed everything I could possibly think of is wrong with this bike and included the pictures so please look carefully because if you win this bike then it is going to be your bike. If there are any question you have about this motorcycle please ask before you bid so that everything is clear before you bid. The buyer is responsible for crating and shipping arrangements. If your local to the area then you can come and pick up the bike at your convenience. The bike is located in Springfield Missouri. I have never shipped a vehicle so I cannot begin to quote you shipping prices so Id preffer local pick up but if you have the knowledge to arrange for shipping and handling that would work as well.
