For sale is my 2004 Honda Rebel that I have made into a cool little bobber . This bike is a blast to ride. Weighed in at under 300 pounds you can out maneuver any other bike out there. It is a 250cc twin but has a quick grunt in the city and can still reach 75mph. I have ridden it mostly around the city and to work but have still went on a few 100 mile trips. It can handle freeway speeds but I usually took the back way. The bike has only 9940 miles but will continue to increase as I ride it. Insurance for this bike is the cheapest I've ever had and on average I get around 75mpg but I have gotten up to 82mpg before. The bike gets a lot of attention and compliments everywhere I go. I will be sad to see it go again, I had sold it last year and bought it back 4 months later! It has been the most fun bike I've ever owned and the most reliable. I hope the next owner enjoys it as much as I have, but I have many other projects to complete. I have made a few modifications to the bike to set if off from the rest. I did not do a "hack" job like some of the Rebels I have seen. I have added a hand made pan seat with 2" springs, black rims, blacked out headlight bucket, upper triple clamp, and speedometer bezel. Also have added low profile turn signals and a stainless steel glass lens Ford Model A tail lamp with running and license plate light. Hand made 10" Z bars with fatty grips for more comfort. I have removed the rear fender, but when you ride there is no chance of rubbing the tire, as you can see in my picture. Personally I like the look. I have put Emgo shorty slip-on mufflers on and fiberglass wrapped the head pipes. I have a youtube link to a clip of the bike running and me riding it around. The link is http://youtu.be/Q34TRgMONTs I have replaced the stock chain with a gold O-ring chain. It recently has been cleaned, re-lubed and tension set while keeping the rear tire aligned. Forks seal great, oil just changed at 9900 miles. The tire is getting worn but still has plenty of tread left for the season. The paint is flawless. The bike will be spotless upon arrival at its new home and ready to ride. I expect a down payment of $300 via paypal within 3 days after end of auction. I am willing to ship, but at the buyers cost.
