2005 Triumph Rocket III Classic Motorcycle. The Triumph Rocket III made history for possessing the largest displacement engine in mass motorcycle production, at 2,294 cubic centimeters. The engine itself is a fuel-injected four-stroke liquid-cooled longitudinal in-line three-cylinder engine, with 12 intake valves (four on each cylinder) and mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It generates 140 horsepower at 5,750 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 147.5 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 RPM, and has a bore and stroke of 101.6 x 94.3 mm (4 x 3.72 inches) and an 8.7-to-1 compression ratio. The 2005 Rocket III has a 6.6-gallon (25-liter) gas tank, as well as an engine starter for convenient start-up. Bike runs great. I ride it to work almost every day (weather permitting). It has had the transmission bearing upgrade at dealer in Daytona.
