The pillion seat was modified to improve comfort. I've had this bike from new for more than 23k and have personally ridden all 16k on it. It has been treated well and serviced by 'country' Joe at Trebour Motorcycles in NJ who is known as an authority on new Triumphs and has been services mine since 2000. Battery was just replaced a few weeks ago and oil and oil filter were changed less than 500 miles ago. Mechanically and electrically the motorcycle is perfect with the exception of the heated grips that I just realized are not heating. All of the chrome is in great condition. There are some minor paint problems on one of the Corbin bags and the fairing that can be easily fixed with a touch-up kit and a slightly bigger problem on the fender where an earlier Corbin bag was rubbing on the fairing. For this reason and because I would rather not fix those problems before listing, I'm listing at $1000 less than its minimum value. If you're looking at this listing, you've already done your research on the motorcycle, so I wont bother repeating what an incredible motorcycle this is. I will say that still after 5 years, when I get on this bike I cant help but grin like an idiot. I may look a little like an American Cruiser but it sounds more like an American Muscle car, makes a HD Softail look small and sounds like a VW bug in comparison.
