PLEASE: READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE BIDDING/ASKING QUESTIONSTHIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!! THE HIGHEST BIDDER AT THE END OF THIS AUCTION WILL OWN THIS CAR!!!Please serious bidders only... Please read entire ad and ask all questions before submitting your bid.Up for NO RESERVE auction is a 1956 Ford 2 door sedan that we just recently acquired on trade. You are getting it just like we got it!! We was told this car has been restored for aprox 25 years. The man we acquired this car from was driving it on a regular basis. It hits the road great and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. If you are wanting a show car turn back now! This is a driver quality car that NEEDS a full restoration to become a really nice car. This car would be a great starter car for someone to drive now and restore later. The car for the most part is very solid.... However it is starting to show some rust bubbles/blisters starting to form along the bottoms of doors and bottom edge of trunk lid. The frame, floors, trunk pan etc are solid!!The paint is what I call driver quality....By far not flawless aprox 25 years old and shows its age....Looks good from 10 foot away but when you get up on it.... it can and will be picked!! I would rate it about a 5 1/2 on a scale of 1 to 10. All of the chrome glass, stainless, emblems etc appear to be original and show their age.. As mentioned it is in my opinion the car needs and deserves a FULL restoration!!!The interior is all there and looks ok. It also has been done aprox 25 years in custom gray cloth. The car still has its original 292 V8 engine mated to a 3 speed column shift transmission and factory rear end. The motor runs and sounds excellent doesn't smoke, knock or rattle...I did notice if the car sets around for a few days at a time there is a small oil leak that leaves a puddle about the size of a baseball. The transmission shifts great clutch feels good no problems... The car rides drives and handles as good as any 57 year old car should. Like I said the guy was driving it daily and I have driven it around town myself for a few days with NO problems. We reserve the right to end this listing any time for any reason as this car is for sale locally! We welcome all serious buyers world wide and can assist with shipping quotes. We have described this car to the best of our ability as it is typically not the quality of car that we deal in....But if you keep in mind you are buying a car that needs a total restoration I'm sure you will be happy!GIVE US A CALL ANY TIME WITH QUESTIONS OR OFFERS AT 276-920-1351THANKS AND GOOD LUCK On May-27-13 at 11:46:28 PDT, seller added the following information: On May-27-13 at 11:47:46 PDT, seller added the following information:
