1965 Chevy C-10 PickupThis thing was built to cruise. V8 283, 3 speed on the column. McGaughy's drop spindles, front disc brake conversion, new master cylinder, calipers, and brake lines. Converted to 5 lug, front and rear. GM 10 bolt rear end, with new brakes and lines. Has 3.08 gear ratio to make cruising the highway at 70mph a breeze, unlike when these things come from the factory. Classic Performance lowering springs in the rear, frame has been c-notched to give plenty of clearance for the rear end. Holley carb, New starter, waterpump, exhaust, valve cover gaskets, and air filter. 4 new 15 inch smoothie wheels that have been painted and cleared to match the truck, with wide whitewall tires. New carpet, seat was completely disassembled, painted, new padding and covered with marine grade white vinyl. New rockers were installed, and their was a few rust spots in the floor that was cut out and replaced with new metal and rubber coated. Keep in mind this isnt a show truck, it does still have some rust, bondo from previous repairs, it does squeak. If your looking for a good dependable driver, with some awesome patina, and gets attention anywhere you go, then this is it. All the lights work, fuel gauge works, speedometer works, but is about 10mph off because of the higher geared rear end. It was a budget build 6 cylinder truck. I have had a lot of questions about it, just clearing that up.
