1958 Chevy Apache 1958 Chevy Truck Apache (Custom) I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle. This is one of those items: We received this beautiful Apache from a friend who lived in Blanco, Texas. He had the Apache for 32 years. The Apache comes with a V-8 327 engine and a standard transmission with overdrive. When we received the truck, it was solid and straight but the paint wasn’t perfect – it was just ok so we decided to repaint it. We sent the truck out for a new paint job (2 weeks old). Then we sent it out to have a brand new wooden bed installed by a professional wood worker (1 week old). What is good about the truck: It is straight and solid with zero rust. It is a Texas truck which comes with a clear Texas title. The owner gave us the original owner’s name and the copy of the first title. It comes with a strong V-8 engine. It comes with a strong standard transmission. It comes with many extra parts such as an extra instrument gauge panel and another extra standard transmission just in case you ever need one in the future. It comes with a brand new paint job. It comes with a brand new wooden bed. It comes with a beautiful aluminum mag wheels. It runs and drives very well. What is not so good about the truck: The gas gauge is not working; it needs a new sending unit. You need to finish the interior, probably with new carpet. The glove compartment door doesn’t stay closed. There is a small crack in one of the small side windows The truck comes with a clear Texas title. Even though the truck looks fantastic, please remember that it is not a hundred point truck. We can deliver in Texas to a reasonable distance for a reasonable cost. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Remember that this classic truck is 53 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures.
