Vehicle Detail
California car all it's life until 2 years ago....Rust free car other than a bubble on the gas door corner under the paint (minor..) Super clean and stock all the way around with factory floor mats and keys, spare tire, jack, owners manual!!! The body is great other the usual paint fading on driver's side and a few minor dings/dents here and there. All body panels are original but does appear the hood and headlight covers has been painted (very, very nicely and match perfect) also the front grill on the hood is cracked on the bottom edge. All glass is good and interior is super clean, starts on first pop too. I have seen a few minor oil leaks and the bottom of the motor has is a little wet (does not leave large spots OR smell of any oil burning). The tires are almost new with perfect alloy wheels, brakes and exhaust are awesome. I DO NOT have any maintainence history on the car or know when belts were changed BUT they are not original, from the looks of the engine it has been maintained well. She drives great with plenty of zip but getting it out this spring I noticed that shifting from 1st to 2nd it is different? almost a little fluttery?? If that makes any sense, feels like the shift point is off or can't decide if it wants to shift high or low RPM? I owned a 88 prelude years ago that acted like this and it was a shifter solenoid....was @ $100 part if I remember, probably only available in salvage yards by now?? Still it shifts through all the gears and is driveable and reliable as is. Our area has no one left that still works on these old hondas and KNOWS what they are talking about it if they did. SO.....All in all it's a great little time machine that can be driven the way it is just fine BUT with a little mechanic work it would be a close to a show car. I really have not seen an old honda/acura like this condition in 20 years! Clean and clear Minnesota title, will be very accomidating for a shipping company if need be..
