(PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING) Due to non-paying bidder(s), if you do not have more than 25 to 50 and 99% or higher feedback I will re-ject your bid offer during the auction. Please be professional and respectable, if you bid, please be prepared to follow thru with the auction. If you would like to email before bidding, please do, thank you! Hello and thank you for viewing this auction. Please read the listing before bidding as I wish for you to best understand what your are bidding on. I originally purchased this bike locally from a drag bike sprinter gentlemen who had a GXSR 750 frame and a 1127 Stock California motor and about 100 additional parts to put back together. So I began rebuilding this old school Gixxer and did quite a lot of customizing along the way. I did all the work myself as I am just a hobbiest and "not" a professional bike builder or professional licensed mechanic...just an bike lover. Please remember this bike is 22 years old and history is little known, so please do not expect the reliability of a 2000 model, fuel injected newer bike...it is "OLD SCHOOL" in every way and has carbs. Please see below of the custom rebuild and features: FRAME & WHEELS:1. Polished 750 frame with 9 inch extended swingarm2. PM racing polished aluminum wheels3. Custom zx-10 gas coil over shock4. Custom aluminum undertray and battery box5. New wheel bearings on front and rear6. New rear sprocket and DID chain7. All hydraulic conversions for clutch and brakes.8. 190 rear Dunlop 50% wear and 120 front Dunlop with 30% wear9. Custom lowering links MOTOR & CARBS:1. Stock 1127 California Motor- Neither myself or the gentlemen I purchased the bike from new of the mileage, however, compression tests were great2. I rebuilt the 36mm carbs with all new gaskets, needles and jets3. New carb manifold boots4. Bench sync'd the carbs, however I have not vacuum sync'd, just set idle screws5. New fuel lines6. New plugs7. New valve cover gaskets and plugs gaskets8. New oil filter and battery9. Custom 4 to 1 header with new gaskets and Yoshimura Exhaust Pipe10. The motor runs good, however I have only put 50 miles on the bike since the rebuild last year. A vacuum carb sync is recommended to fine tune further PAINT & BODY:1. New custom paint2. 2006 rear tail section and brake light and solo cowl- I still have the original rear fairings 3. Custom seat and recovered4. New smoked windscreen5. New smoked headlight cover.6. Billet grips and mirror block off mirror plates, both with GSXR engraving7. Custom Gear Shifter billet aluminum7. No mirrors or turn signals on the bike, however, turn switches are wired just ready for turn signal mouting style of your choice. I am sure I am missing some things here and there. Again I finished the rebuild several months ago and have ridden less than 50 miles. Bike does ride and shift good. Motor pulls strong, but could use some fine tuning as I tuned by ear. Please ask any questions, Happy Bidding and God Bless! !!!!!!PLEASE READ ADDED INFORMATION!!!!!!!: I have had a lot of people ask the same question(s) so I wanted to post these responses: 1. The bike "does" run well and shifts good, at this time... and is street legal except I have not installed mirrors or turn signals. Turn signal switch with wiring is ready to go, just needs incondescent bulbs...LEDS will not work on these old school models with out 6 Ohm 50 W resistors that you can get here on eBay. 2. NOW.....the bike is nearly 22 years old..so please do not expect the reliability from a 2000 model....I have only riden for 50 miles since the rebuild, so there may be things that need further tuning, tightened, or adjusted. Many engine gaskets have been replaced, so a torque down of a bolt or cover after heavy riding or engine load may be required. 3. This old school GSXR is "oil cooled"...please research these older models...as temperature gauges are not own the bike. These motors are very desirable for drag racing and reliable...but the tranny's second gear can go out. Again, it shifts good, but I do not know the past history or milage of this stock motor. 4. I re-jetted the bike with big jets so to accomodate the big breathers and exhuast headers....so you have to be careful not to foul the plugs as it is easily done....I would recommend to keep an extra set on hand........again, these are the things you have to deal with with older carb bikes....but if you love these old school bikes, like I do, then the other pleasures are worth it.... THANK YOU!!
