“That is the cutest car I have ever seen,” has been the consistent comment of everybody who has seen this car since I have owned it. No big wings or ground effects, just a pure white innocent looking Porsche, with a 3.6 liter air cooled engine. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. This is a two owner car, I was told a doctor in Macon, Ga. owned it for the first 7 years and then I, a lawyer, have owned it for the last 7 years. The 993 was the last generation of the air cooled 911’s and often referred to as “the perfect Porsche. “ Only, 1500 Targas were built with half for European delivery, half to the U.S. (and half of those went to California). With the fully retractable sliding glass roof, it truly is the best of both worlds. This low mileage car has only 54k miles on the odometer. Here is the good news and the bad news, as much as I hate to admit this, I made the huge Porsche mistake, I babied the car. As a result, the engine seals started leaking. Just last week, April 27, 2013, the car came out of Porsche of Hilton Head with a fully transferrable 2 year nationwide engine warranty. That, along with a minor service and new tires, and she is good to go. Here is everything wrong with the car. I always had a dashboard cover to protect it from cracking in the sun. Unfortunately, when I removed the cover, it left a couple of small spots of adhesive. There is a touch of wear on the steering wheel and one ¼ inch rock chip on the left rear fender. On May-12-13 at 11:47:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to recognize that the Vehicle History Report states that there are 8 owners. That is not my understanding, and when examining the history, it appears that 4 or 5 of those have to do with the history between the first owner and myself. It looks like those appear related to dealer swaps, and things of that nature. All within a short time period. From my understanding, there are only two owners to this car, with one of them being myself.
