1957 Chevrolet Panel Truck For sale is a 1957 Chevy Panel Truck. This is a California vehicle being sold with a bill of sale for parts or to be rebuilt. This vehicle has been off the road and out of the California DMV system for over fifteen years. I purchased this vehicle with the intention of bringing her back to life, the floors and frame are California solid with minimal rust or cancer. Inside the truck the original wood floor is intact and untouched. There are a few small rust holes on driver side and passenger side door steps. There is a small patch of rust/cancer behind passenger side step. There is a dent and rust/cancer around passenger side rear fender well. Driver side rear fender well has some small paint bubbles but other than that it is solid. The bottom of the door pillars has a small patch of rust/cancer on both the driver and passenger sides. The driver side rear leaf spring is missing all but one leaf so the vehicle is sitting lop-sided and the front two leaf springs are missing. After purchasing this vehicle I began to gather parts for the project, which will be included in this sale. I have a pair of solid doors(door glass has cracks), two hoods, a grille(55), core support, two left fenders both with rust and no right fender(plan was to locate better fenders), one driver side inner fender but no passenger side inner fender, original seat was rebuilt and reupholstered(this was a delivery with only one original seat), and there is a small box of parts which came with the truck which contains miscellaneous items. There are no bumpers. There is no doubt this is a project vehicle which will need a lot of work but in my opinion it is a solid foundation to build on. I liked the project because the floors and frame are solid and untouched and for the cool factor of the 57 panel.
