This 1982 Isuzu I-Mark Diesel Sedan is an amazingly well preserved low mileage survivor. Believed to be one owner with only 66K miles, this car was not only well cared for and used sparingly, but stored indoors as well. The paint is original and looks good, but would respond well to a good detailing. The pinstriping is peeling in areas, and there are a few minor scratches, but nothing near what you would expect for a 30 year old car. Inside, the upholstery looks very good as does the dashboard and headliner. The carpets have a few light stains, but the factory floor mats are still present and look good. The only flaws noticed were the AC is no longer cold, and the driver's side power mirror does not work. The backing board in the trunk also has a piece broken off. Mechanically, it was obviously well cared for and runs very well. The engine runs smoothly and the clutch and brakes work as designed. Tires may even be original but are over 50% worn. A new battery has been installed, and some rust was noticed on the battery tray. (see photo) A rare car to survive in such great condition. It definitely should be preserved as a tribute to 1980's Japanese engineering.
