Vehicle Detail

This beautifully restored and resto-modded 1956 Chevrolet Belair (VIN # VC 560081026) has undergone a 4 year, frame-off, complete restoration and rebuild. I purchased this vehicle in 2004 because of its good bones! (Very straight, rust free body, block and heads still in sealed bags from the professional rebuild, and all original). While this vehicle has always been rebuilt with the vision of a dependable, fast, modern convenience driver, it definitely has a show car fit and finish. 90% of this Belair has brand new parts, original restored parts, or resto-modded upgrades. It drives beautifully, looks stunning with its two tone black with blue metallic flake body/blue metallic color scheme, custom interior, 2’’ dropped stance, and American racing rims. This is an original black plate vehicle (Plates included) with a clear California title. Over 40k invested into this vehicle and I have $25,000 in original receipts and a photo album of the project from start to finish available to the buyer upon request. The car has fewer than 100 total miles on it and all its new parts since the completion of the restoration. It has always been garaged! Please take a look below at some of the highlights of this restoration. It is 100% mechanically sound! It’s fast! It brakes well! It looks great! No Car is Perfect! So what are the issues with this Belair? Taillights, instruments cluster, radio, clock headlight, bezels, and side nerf bars are original 1956. I felt they gave the car character. You many want to restore or replace them. Speedo mechanism needs to be repaired/replaced. It whines. Front seat shells are missing, very rare and hard to find. They many need to be fabricated. There is a small dent, on driver’s side rear quarter; no paint chipped. My son’s bike fell into it. This is a 7k-paint job; not 20k paint job. There are small imperfections in the paint. Payment Information: ( Please Read Carefully Before You Bid!) The buyer must make a paypal deposit in the amount of $500 within 24hrs of purchase. The balance must be paid in full within 72 hours of purchase via direct bank transfer if not a local pickup. I will expect a copy of the buyers drivers license via FAX or picture by email within 72 hours of purchase. I will have the buyer sign it when they pick up the car. I will also need documentation from the buyer as to who is coming for the car; the transport company name, truck, driver, phone number, and license plate number of the truck and or trailer. I will take a picture of the vehicle on the truck before it leaves. For local pickup, I will only accept cash, direct deposit, or a cashier’s check from Wells Fargo or Union Bank. If paying by cashier’s check, I will only make delivery of the vehicle during banking hours, You will meet me at my local Wells Fargo or Union Bank to deposit your payment into my account.RESTORATION AND REBUILD HIGHLIGHTS ENGINE & TRANSMISSION: Chevrolet 327 SB V8 from a 1967 Corvette (Professionally rebuilt) Matching numbers 64cc ‘camel hump’ heads (professionally rebuilt) Turbo Hydromatic 400 transmission (Full, professional rebuild) Miladon Oil Pan (new) STEERING & SUSPENSION: Rack and Pinion Power steering conversion kit (Professionally installed) All new front end components/bushings/body mounts 2” dropped front spindles Flaming River custom steering wheel FUEL & EXHAUST: Edelbrock performer 600cfm electric choke #1406 carburetor Edelbrock performer RPM Endurashine manifold New stainless steel gas tank, new fuel lines, new Edelbrock fuel pump Headman SB ‘shorty’ ¾” exhaust, flowmaster mufflers ELECTRICAL: American Auto Wire Systems “factory fit” wiring kit (Professionally installed) Billet Flame thrower distributor, Accel short plugs, Moroso plug wires, billet looms New Starter/Alternator HEATING & COOLING: Aluminum radiator, electric fan, transmission cooler newly installed BRAKES & WHEELS: Front disc brake conversion, new rear drums American Racing ‘Classic’ wheels 17X7 (2)/ 17X8 (2) Falken 912 tires 215/55/17 front/ 235/55/17rear INTERIOR/EXTERIOR: Beautiful Custom complete interior (see pictures) Original bumpers and stainless professionally re-chromed and polished
