This is a nice driver quality car, with great mechanicals and in need of some cosmetic work. Mechanically the car is excellent. Her 2.1 L 4-cylinder is in excellent condition, has good compression and has benefited from a full tune-up and inspection. The engine received new points and plugs, and all fluids were changed. The brakes and SOLID AXLE REAR suspension were inspected and adjusted, and the car drives and stops beautifully.. Cosmetically the car has some issues. While the body and frame is solid, the paint is checking in many places, especially on the horizontal surfaces. She would benefit from a repaint. The interior is in excellent driver condition. The Black seats and carpets are in nice condition, are is the dash and gauges. All mechanical systems work as they should. The soft top is in good shape, as is the wooden dash. It still has the original radio (plays static) and working heater. The 4-speed transmission shifts well, and the clutch engages with authority. The painted wire wheels are in nice shape and the tires have 75% tread remaining.The brightwork is good with some pitting on some areas. This car is in excellent driver condition, and with paint could easily be brought much closer to show quality. She is road ready and just waiting for an enthusiastic new owner.
