Vehicle Detail
1974 Barracuda 4spd Up for auction is a 1974 Barracuda (BH23G4BXXXXX) that is in need of completion. The car started life as a 318ci, automatic with a vinyl top and now has a Mopar crate 360ci (zero miles), pistol grip 4 spd (rebuilt and zero miles) and no vinyl top. The car has had a lot of work done to it and is now in need of an owner who can spend the time needed to complete it. In total I have over $26,000 in receipts for the restoration, not including parts purchased at swap meets and the price of the car. The car currently runs however is in need of a tune up and possible carb rebuild from sitting so many years. There are also a few paint blemishes that occurred after the car was painted. The trunk lid and header panel will need to be repainted. During the restoration the car was completely stripped to nothing but a shell in bare metal. The rear quarters and wheel houses were replaced as well as the driver’s side front floor pan and the car was painted in 2006 (including the jams and engine compartment). I have pictures of the car during the restoration process. The car has power steering, manual brakes, new interior (needs completion), restored wiper motor, new radiator & hoses, new washer bottle, new battery, new wiring harness, new headers, new exhaust, all new front suspension, new brakes & lines, new gas tank & lines, new crager SS rims and new tires. The car does not have a build sheet, fender tag, door vin sticker or dash vin plate. The vin # is on the radiator support and cowl and I also have a CT. title for the car dated 1994 (when it was last registered). This would be a great project for someone looking to tinker as they drive it or a great father / son project. The car must go so no reasonable CASH offer will be refused. I will also consider trading up… my car and cash for your 70-74 E-body, 68-72 B-body (4spd’s only on the E & B body) or a restored 1978 Lil Red Express. ***RELISTING - someone hit the "buy it now" button by mistake***
