1952 Studebaker Champion The car has 53,000 original miles! To the best of my knowledge it has the original 6 cylinder engine that runs like a top. The transmission is a 3 speed on the column and it shifts great! The car also has overdrive, but I have not been able to get it to engage. Everything else works-wipers, lights, gauges, even the dome light works when the door is opened. The car is the original color which is Nocturnal Blue and still has the color tag under the dash on the passenger side(see pics). The paint is not a show finish and has two dents on the passenger side(see pics). The interior is original so it is 61 years old, but is in fair condition with the driver’s seat showing some wear. The body and floorpans are in great shape with no signs of rust-though(very solid). Seat belts have also been added for safety on the front seats. I also have maintenance records from the 50’s and the tag that hung from the mirror originally to show how to operate the heater. The door locks and trunk locks all still function and open with the original key. The car still starts as it did originally with the clutch. This car runs, drives and stops well.
