Brand New Show Quality Restoration1952 Chevrolet 3100 Advance-Design Short Bed 1/2 Ton PickupOffered for your consideration is an immaculately restored 1952 Chevrolet short bed 3100 pickup truck. This truck is truly show quality and is destined to be an award winner at any event. Every single piece of this truck was completely disassembled, down to the last nut, washer, bearing, wood slat, and wire, and everything that could be cleaned, serviced, renewed, and reused on the truck was set aside and either refinished like new or replaced. There are less that 350 miles on this truck since it was completed. I'ts brand new!This Advance-Design truck is part of my personal collection and I will hate to see her go. I own several of these trucks from the 50s and my intent is to restore them to original condition and to enjoy driving them around on the weekends...but this truck was not done just to be a driver. It was done for show, but if you want to drive it anywhere, then be my guest because it will get you there with ease. I am currently offering several of my trucks for sale because I'm simply running out of storage space and want others to enjoy them as much as I do. I love the restoration process and hope you appreciate my attention to original detail.The chassis was completely stripped, media blasted, and prepped for a new coat of black paint. Every joint, spring and fitting was removed and either cleaned and refurbished or replaced. All the fuel and brake lines were replaced with stainless steel and every single nut, bolt and washer was replaced with pure stainless steel as well.The new oak bed was stained and finished with two coats of marine urethane, including polished stainless steel center strips and harware. The 216 CID engine and three speed transmission were both completely rebuilt to original manufacturer's specifications...maybe better because we used stronger push rods. The truck is equipped with snappy new (original design) bias ply white wall tires that really set this 3100 apart from the rest. The interior is perfect with all new rubber and mouldings, including window and door harware. All the six volt electrical and lighting components are new from front to rear and were replaced with all new wiring, fuse panel, connectors and wraps. The glass is crystal clear, with no imperfections whatsoever. It would be hard to find a truck in better condition anywhere...and if you could, you should buy it.
