“55 Pontiac” Here we have a beautiful1955 Pontiac top of the line 2-Door post model. The paint looks great, holding a beautiful shine with only minor imperfections. As typical with this era this Pontiac has plenty of chrome all around. All the chrome is in excellent condition and shines bright. Both the front and rear bumper appear to be re-chromed but do show a few minor scuffs and scratches. Inside this beautiful 2-Door Pontiac, you will see that the entire interior has been reupholstered in the same original fashion and colors. The interior is in excellent condition. The carpet is also new. The headliner is in fantastic condition as shown. Under the hood, the engine bay is clean. The engine looks great. This 55 Pontiac is equipped with the 180 horsepower capable, 287ci V8, which was new in the ’55 Pontiacs. Attached to the V8 is a Hydramatic automatic transmission. The chrome Cragar Star Wire rims are in good shape but do have minor pitting. The tires are new P225/75R15. E-Z-Eye factory glass. Passenger side window has crack along bottom as shown.
