Vehicle Detail

You are viewing an incredible 1967 Ford F100 Custom pick up truck in a beautiful red and white classic style, to be sold at No Reserve. I am a private seller, not a dealer, selling both this truck and my Chevrolet Chevelle 300 Deluxe sedan (also on e-bay under a separate listing.) This auction is only for the 1967 Ford F100. I am selling these items because of my impending retirement and my need to help my son with college tuition.Ford F100 info:I have owned this truck since 2008. When I purchased it, the exterior had already been painted and I was told the engine was completely overhauled. I had the bed removed and the cab and front of bed professionally painted so that the entire truck has been painted on the exterior. At the same time, I had the entire interior of the cab professionally painted. I used POR15 products to clean and paint the entire under-side of the truck, including frame and bottom of bed. Prior to this work, I had the under-side of the truck (bed and cab) professionally media blasted.Additionally, I have had the interior completely re-done, i.e., the original seat professionally re-covered, carpeting with sound deadening material installed, new dash, and installed a new headliner. I had the original steering wheel shipped out to California for professional restoration in an ivory color. I shipped the steering column out to a Steering Column Restoration vendor in New York state and had it restored. I had the truck bed lined with Rhino Lining. I replaced two bushings on the suspension, and all new wheel bearings have been installed. The fuel tank was emptied and cleaned with POR15 fuel cleaner. This truck has a fresh tune up. A new clutch was recently installed. This truck has a new fuel sending unit. The tires on this truck are essentially brand new. To the best of my knowledge, the mileage is original. In fact, the owner of the transmission shop commented that he thought the mileage on the truck was original. I purchased this truck from a fellow in a neighboring town and spent several hours talking to him about the truck's history. He was the second owner and had to sell it due to job loss. I would not hesitate to get in this truck and drive long distances. I really hate to sell this truck, but have no choice. The truck drives and shifts straight and well. It is manual transmission, with three on the column, also known as "three on the tree."I have all of the shop manuals to go with this truck: 1967 Ford Truck Maintenance and Lubrication Manual, and the Shop Manuals: volumes 1, 2, and 3.Everywhere I drive this truck it gets attention and positive comments. At a gas station the other day, a driver of a new model Ford F350, told me that he had the bigger truck, but that a "real man" drives a truck like this one! Not to say a woman couldn't drive this truck if so inclined. :)Below is a youtube video of the engine running:http://youtu.be/563gIXeLmkcKnown Issues:It does not currently register the amount of fuel in the tank. I am pretty sure the wire does not have a good ground at the tank. This should be an easy fix, I just haven't had time to work on it. The speedometer needle dances at around 30 mph, but at speeds below or above that, it is fine. The cable likely needs to be lubricated, as it was working fine before I had the dash work done.It is a small nick in the windshield where a rock hit it. I can honestly not think of anything else that truck needs.Payment / Shipping:If you are the winning bidder, a $500 non-refundable deposit will need to be made via paypal within 72 hours (3 days), with the balance due within 7 days, also via paypal. It is the winning bidders responsibility to arrange pick up of the truck from Middle Tennessee, or to arrange having it shipped to you, however, I will be as accommodating as I can through that process. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy the truck. If you have less than a 90% feedback rating on ebay, please contact me before bidding.
