Vehicle Detail
This auction is for an adult owned 1982 Suzuki GS1100e motorcycle (Champagne color) in outstanding condition. Currently shows 18450 actual miles on the odometer, but has only been driven 2,500 miles since the work was completed. The bike starts instantly when cold and can be driven immediately with no hesitation and idles smoothly at 1000 RPM when warm. Fuel mileage is between 48 and 52 mpg. This GS is completely stock with the exception of a stainless steel Supertrapp header ElectroSport stator & rectifier and a Falicon welded crankshaft. There is over $3000.00 in new and NOS (not aftermarket) parts invested and I have the receipts to prove it. The following is a partial list of some of the parts that have been replaced: Wheel bearings, sprockets and chain, swing arm bushings, fork seals, fork springs and all internals and even found a pair of NOS anti dive valves as the originals were leaking. The front and rear master cylinders have been rebuilt along with the front and rear brake calipers. Also the handlebars, mirrors, gauge cluster and housing, foot pegs, shocks, and seat were replaced with genuine Suzuki parts. The engine has been completely rebuilt with approx 2,500 miles driven since the rebuild and includes a new clutch basket, clutch disks and pressure plates, rings, valve guides and seals, oil pump, rebuilt carbs, Falicon welded crankshaft, Electrosport stator & rectifier and the replacement of every single gasket and seal. It does not use or leak oil anywhere. There is absolutely no rust in the tank and it has never been coated. The front tire is like new. The back tire needs to be replaced due to a puncture from a nail. (Note* I will have a new rear tire installed before the new owner takes possession of the bike.) There are no broken tabs on the side covers and the paint is in outstanding condition with the exception of a very small dent on the right side of the fuel tank towards the rear and a couple of small paint chips on the bottom edge of the tank. Included are a bike cover, service manual and a variety of spare parts. This GS1100 needs nothing and is reliable and ready to ride anywhere. The winning bidder agrees to pay a $250.00 non refundable deposit immediately following the end if the auction and the balance due in cash at time of pickup within 7 days.
