2007CHEVY CREWCAB DURAMAXALLISON TRANSMISSON2WD Up for auction today I am listing a truck that I have owned for several years now. I buy trucks from dealers and auctions that need alittle work or just have high miles. This truck I bought from an auction out of Portland, OR, it was a repo. It went through a fence is what I gather from the damage that was done to it, my family does own a collision shop and has for over 30yrs. It had damage to the hood, bumper, left front fender, left doors, cab corner and bed. I fixed the fender, front door, cab corner and bed, put a new rear door on it and didn't repair the hood or bumper that damage is still there, it only had about $5,000 in damages. This truck was one of my oops purchases, when I bought it, it was lifted with 20" wheels and 35" tires. So I thought here it is, nice lifted crew cab 4WD Duramax, I regrettably never looked at the VIN number, amateur mistake so I ended up with a 2wd instead. I was so mad at myself I parked it in the corner of my shop for 2 years. I finally fixed it last summer and started driving it, and it is really a nice truck, love the hell out of it. Now I just bought a new house and still haven't sold my old one yet, so the truck has to go. Now the only major issue with the truck is that when it was repo'd the owner must have removed the batteries, I know this because I got it without them. Because of this the bank was unable to see the mileage, so the lazy a-holes marked the title TMU- True Miles Unknown. When I bought it, they powered it up and the mileage represented was around 13,000, it now has alittle over 17,000. I have taken the truck to the local Chevy house and by the computer, the miles and hours are accurate, so just a negligent act of a lazy banker. Like said I bought it in February of 2010, it had only been owned for 2 years prior, sold new in 08'. A really clean truck for the most part, will make a great driver, hauler or work truck either way.Mechanical- It does in fact have the powerful reliable 6.6 liter Duramax backed by the Allison 6spd automatic transmission, 3.73 gears. It does still have the factory exhaust and never had a chip, I put factory wheels and new 295/75/17 Nitto tires on it. Exterior- Like I said, I fixed the major damage, the minor I left alone. There is a small dent or two on the hood, the left outer cover of the front bumper by the fog light is scraped up from the fence, a few small door dings on the passenger side, the rear bumper is twisted up on the right side, the tailgate has a few small dents to it, the bed has scratches in it, never had a gooseneck or 5th wheel and the left bed panel has a few scratches from when I went hunting in November. It does have the factory receiver hitch and trailer wiring.Interior- It has black cloth interior, folding center console front seat with under seat storage, power windows, locks and mirrors. AM/FM/CD/XM radio, OnStar, climate control, remote start, rear window defroster. This truck is a really nice truck, you won't go wrong, lots of money to be saved here and still have a truck worth plenty of money.
