Vehicle Detail
1969 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe, One Owner California Car This is another car I got as part of a package from an estate in Burbank CA last year. It is a beautiful 1969 Eldorado with one previous owner. The last time it was registered for the street was in 1988 and it has been stored in a garage the whole time. It was driven a couple of times a year since 88 just to keep things working. It was sold new in Northridge California and still wears its original black/yellow plates. It has 78,000 original miles and has been babied all its life. I have many old registrations and receipts, the dealer warranty and the original keys that still have the disabled vets key return tag with the original plate numbers. Don’t forget that this car is almost 45 years old and it still has these unique and rare items with it. The car still has its original T3 headlamps. The interior is absolutely breathtaking. It is full two toned leather and is perfect. It is the nicest I have ever seen. The carpets are original and are excellent. Headliner is perfect and the dash and side panels have no cracks, splits or marks. Of course it has all the factory power options that were available in 1969 and the window and power seat all work great. All the factory original glass is excellent. All the chrome and trim are excellent and the body is straight and absolutely rust free with one very nice repaint in the original color # 94 Chalice Gold Firemist Poly. I had it highlighted with a narrow painted pinstripe on the sides to accentuate the lines of the car. It was custom hand painted by JamieK of Detroit Bros. West and matches the color of the vinyl landau top. The top is in great shape with a little fading from the California sun. For more photos go to: share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AYtGrNk3ctWLIZA We just had the car serviced from front to back with all fluids changed, new freeze plugs, new alternator and brake system flushed. The fuel tank and sending unit were replaced with new fuel lines throughout. I have not serviced the AC but it is complete and should just need a recharge. The 472 engine runs smooth and strong. I was amazed at the power. It is a fast car. The transmission shifts as it should with no clunks or noise from the front joints. It has a full set of brand new Coker American Classic whitewall tires that look great. It has an optional factory original Cadillac 8 track tape player under the dash and in the trunk are over 100 tapes to relive the 70’s! Along with the tapes there is the factory brochure for this car and an enlarged photo of the car from the early 70’s at the Ventura waterfront. The AM/FM radio crackles but won’t pickup a station, the antenna is stuck. This car is an excellent original car that has never been messed with. It has had one caring owner since new and it shows it. It still smells new inside. Even when he did not drive it he still polished and waxed it. I have a copy of the original California pink slip and have current title in my name. It is currently registered with its original black/yellow plates. I have the car advertised locally and reserve the right to remove it from ebay at any time. Thank you for your interest. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
