This is a 1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet Convertible. It is offered for sale out of a private collection. It was purchased in 2003 by the collection and has been there since. The car was restored in the late 1990s to early 2000s prior to purchase by the collection. It had just over 3600 miles put on the car before being put into the collection.The paint is base/clear and has no issues. The interior is in great condition with a little light staining on the carpet from shoes, and it should shampoo out. The weatherstripping was replaced at restoration and is in good condition. The top was replaced at the time of restoration and is white in color and in good condition. The chrome and stainless are in good condition. A lot of these peices were redone at the time of restoration, but some of the original stainless could use professional polishing (mainly tail light and rear panel trim). The underside originally came undercoated and still is. The restoration photos will be included with the sale. It has the correct 101 h.p. 225-slant 6 cylinder engine, push button automatic transmission, factory radio, and power top. The cars in the collection are in a climate-controlled building and are run on a monthly schedule, but the car has only been moved around the building for cleaning in the past 13 years. The oil has been changed and the brakes checked for the new owner, but please expect to perform normal maintainence checks before putting the car back on the road for everyday use. The car is available for inspection anytime during normal business hours. You can fly into XNA regional airport, where I will be glad to pick you up to take a look.
