Up for auction is a sweet 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS, 327, Auto, #'s matching, unmolested SURVIVOR. I am the third owner of the car. It even comes with original trim tag and owner's manual and protecto plate. Original FM radio. Equipped with Rally Sport Package. Hidden headlights still work. Interior and trunk in great shape No rust, bondo or body work. A few minor scratches and paint chips. There is a hole in the muffler but I will leave that to new owner as I don't want to lose originality. This car took 3rd place in the 1990's at the Vintage Chevrolet Nationals. It has been kept in the same condition and started regularly. These unmolested muscle cars are getting harder and harder to come by. It is actually a replacement. Sorry. Also I would like you to note that I am including a briefcase with the car (See photos). It contains a great deal about the history of the car. Included are: The ORIGINAL BODY BROADCAST COPY. It is extremely rare to have this valuable piece of information with a car of this age and adds considerable value to the car. Numerous advertisements, manuals, and receipts. These show custom features available, prices, etc. The original winner's book from the 1991 Vintage Chevrolet Nationals which includes a photo of the car as 3rd place winner. The score sheets and other info from the Nationals is also inlcuded. It also includes the original envelope that the title came in. It is postmarked November 29, 1968. That makes me believe the rear spoiler could have been added by the dealer in '68 before the original owners bought the car. I believe these ads and manuals alone are worth well over $1,000 if sold individually but add even more than that to the value of the car. If the car sells for over $28,000 I will also include a handful of vintage Camaro books that I have. One of these books is valued at $250. I will also include any trophies I can find that the car won. Since I purchased this car from my uncle's estate and can't ask him questions, I am doing my best to document its history based on receipts, pictures, other relative's memories, etc. Everything I have stated is true and correct to the best of my knowledge but please know I am not a Camaro expert.
