This is an AMAZING ORIGINAL UNTOUCHED 1974 Volkswagen Deluxe Bus still wearing its original Orient Blue and Pastel white paint after all these years! It runs and drives great. It just had a complete servicing and is ready to go. The bus has always been garaged and driven on sunny days, hence the condition of the ORIGINAL body and paint. Buses like this don’t come around very often, if ever. Everything works inside and out all the lights, blinkers, heater, etc. It has a powerful 1800cc engine with a 4 speed manual transmission that performs nicely. The floors, frame, and body are solid as a rock. Look at the reflection in the original paint, the houses, the trees, simply AMAZING for being 40 years old!This is one of the nicer original, un-restored 1974 VW Deluxe 9 passenger Buses existing today. This incredible 40-year-old survivor was originally owned by a family near San Francisco who always garaged it and took excellent care of the bus from day one. As you can see by the pictures, it is incredibly well preserved. The body is in excellent original condition, super dry, very straight, and only has some minor dings and scratches which is minor considering the bus is already 40 years old. The interior is all complete less the middle seat which is easily obtainable. The headliner is nice with the exception of one tear. It is tough to find buses in this kind of exceptional original condition, especially in regards to the original sheet metal and original paint.
