You are bidding on a nice 2001 GMC Savana Explorer Limited SE Hightop van with a wheelchair lift conversion package. This van is powered by the dependable 5.7 liter V-8 engine and automatic overdrive transmission. The van has only 86,196 miles on it. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below to see the entire report for free). This is a TWO-OWNER van that has been in the south it's entire life. The van has NO body damage and NO rust on it. PLEASE LOOK AT THE 100 PICTURES I HAVE POSTED. Hint: if you click on one of the smaller pictures, it will replace the larger one. Just scroll back up to view it. The van has had the front plastic bumper cover repainted ( this is from incident reported on Carfax, I would guess). The van has no other paintwork on it and no signs of any previous damage. The paint is still shiny and bright. There are a few minor scratches and chips as you would expect. The van does come with some extra pinstripes, if you want to replace some of the scuffed ones. The pinstripes are all tape, so you can remove them if you don't like them. The body is very straight. You have to hunt to even find a minor "door ding" on it. The B F Goodrich tires have about 40% tread left on them and are wearing evenly and smoothly. The Explorer Limited SE conversion is one of the best on the market. It has a fiberglass hightop that gives you much more room inside. The side doors have been raised so that you have 57 1/2 inches of clearance at the entrance and 63 1/2 inches of clearance inside the van. The van originally had an under-van style lift, that is why there is a cut-out in the running board down low on the passenger's side. That was removed 3 months ago and the new Braun Millennium lift installed. The lift is a 2009 model that was just now installed. It was removed from a brand new van and never used until now. The lift is rated to 750 lbs. This van has power opening doors also. The power doors and lift are controlled by either a handheld keychair remote or switches located inside the van. The van also has an EZ- Lock system located in the center area. This allows you to automatically lock your wheelchair in place. There are also wheelchair anchoring points for the center area and the van will come with one set of wheelchair anchoring staps. The interior of the van shows little wear. There are no holes, tears or rips in the leather seats, headliner, wood trim or carpeting. There is one missing blind on one door, but since most people never put the blinds down, I did not replace it. The Explore conversion is just a nice well-done package. The front seats are both power. The center console has heated/cooled cup holders along with a built in ice chest. The rear seat power bed function has been disabled because it bumps into the lift when you try to put it down. It will only go about half way before it hits the lift and stops. The TV has been upgraded to a flat monitor style tv at some point. There is a VCP in the van, which I am sure most people will want to update to a DVR. The interior is still in nice shape, but does have some loose trim pieces here and there and is not perfect. WELL above average, however. The van appears to have never been smoked in.
I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. We did replace the gear box due to it leaking ( very common issue on these vans ). The van now has NO leaks, NO drips and does not smoke. The transmission shifts out solidly and smoothly with no issues. THIS VAN IS READY TO BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE AND BE ENJOYED. The tires have no shimmies at 70 mph on the freeway. The brakes all have over 50% life left on them. All the power and electronic equipment work like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known mechanical or electric problems with this vehicle. I take pictures of all my vehicles as they are when they come to me. I don't detail them and shine them up to hide stuff in the pictures. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST.
