Here is my 69 C10 up for grabs. I have been on the hunt for the perfect truck to start building for myself. I hate to say it, but I think I am going to go with a late 50's Ford, so the 69 has to go. First off, this truck is cool! It is not a show truck or race truck, it is a daily driver just as it is. The guy I purchased it from had owned it for 20 years and used it on his farm to haul hay around for the animals. 97000 miles and the previous owner said true. He had the rockers done at one time. The interior is super clean. There is a seat cover on the seat that looks fine, it could fit a little better but still looks just fine. the gauges work, there is a tach mounted on the column and it does not work, should be just an easy plug and play but I just havent ever tryed to fix it. The previous owner had put sealer around the drip rails to prevent rust and it worked. The only bad thing about this truck is the rust in the bed and the cab supports. It doesnt take away from using this thing daily but it is there. The paint need a buffing. It Looks great seriously from 10 feet. Has some cracks and bubble on the bottom of the driver door. It is driver qaulity. The engine is a v8 with a turbo 350 transmission. Runs Great. I just drove it 70mph for an hour on the interstate this past weekend. Great driver! I would hop in and go anywhere. So, please feel safe to fly in and drive home. This truck runs...I have owned many old trucks and someone must have built this engine in the past because it is no slouch at all. Its peppy to say the least! The interior is pretty dang sealed off. Super nice going down the road because its quite inside. All new door rubbers. floor mat. This would be a great builder if you are looking for that or just start using it.
