1965 Chevelle Convertible Clear Ohio title. This Chevelle is solid and a long way toward completion. I was looking forward to some top down cruising with my kids this summer but I found a car I've been wanting for years so this one unfortunately must go. Original 230 straight six.(unknown mileage) Stars easily and runs well. In the accompanying video I am outside of the car when I start it. 2speed column shifted powerglide that was recently rebuilt. 4 wheel drum breaks also recently replaced and stop nice and straight. New radiator. Lights work including interior kick panels. Manual top operates easily but won't keep you dry in its current condition. All glass is in the car and the windows roll up and down nicely. Body is solid. Previous owner replaced two braces under the floor pans. Metal was removed from that area to allow installation. Area was replaced with metal, welded , and then seam sealed. There are many pictures as well as a video that show those areas. Trunk had a couple small areas repaired the same way. There is a lot of trim for this car. I haven't made it to the point of installing most of it. According to the previous owner he removed it and it is "all there". I have a few pictures of the trim laid out on the floor. If it is not in the pictures than I do not have it. After the transmission was rebuilt and installed the transmission lines were capped until the car was going to be put back on the road. I have only driven it a few miles and have not replaced them yet so plan on doing that. Interior is all there but will need recovering. Front seat will need new foam for the bottom. Dash pad has no cracks.
