This auction is for a beautifully restored and much loved 1976 RM125A. This bike has been meticulously restored from the frame up. Painstaking detail spent making sure everything matched up to original factory spec. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give i a 9.8 . It has a few very minor blemishes which keep it from getting a perfect 10, but it isn’t far from perfect. All parts were removed from the bike and bead blasted or cleaned in a sonic cleaner or replaced with new OEM. The paint job is extremely detailed. I spent many hours sanding the paint to get that perfectly smooth finish. I used Limco single stage auto catalyzed paint and primer (Basically the best paint available) I spent countless hours polishing the wheels, levers, triple clamp, lower forks and throttle housing. The polish job looks great. This bike has oil in it and doesn’t drip a single drop. The bike is unfired so there are no fumes if you intend on displaying it (it is museum quality afterall). If you plan on running it and actually riding it, it will need a carb set as I Have never fired it up. Many OEM parts were used in the restoration down to the Suzuki “S” bolts. Some of the “hard to find” OEM parts that are on this bike:· OEM Front number plate· OEM front fork protectors· OEM Silencer· OEM Front sprocket cover· OEM side covers Basically this is most likely the best looking RM125 you’ll ever see. This thing is is just beautiful.I am sure it will make someone very happy.
